A practical method
A learning plan
A learning plan with prerequisites, an observable task, practice, feedback needs and a review owner. Work through the prompts in your own notes. No information is submitted or saved here.
Starting profile
Describe prior knowledge, language, device, time and access needs. Record assumptions to test with actual learners before publication.
Outcome and evidence
Write one observable task and a fair way to see it attempted. Distinguish task completion from a credential or lasting mastery claim.
Lesson sequence
List prerequisites, a worked example, independent practice and common errors. Remove any lesson that does not serve the outcome.
Feedback and support
Plan who reviews work, how a learner receives useful correction, and what happens when a question or accessibility issue arises.
Maintenance decision
Name a subject steward, source dates, revision interval, withdrawal path and publication approval. Leave course availability unknown until an operator confirms it.
Record the outcome
- What is the proposed next step, and who owns it?
- What evidence supports it, and what remains unknown?
- What would make you pause or change direction?
- When will the decision be reviewed?
